What this covers

This policy covers this website, the SlashFill waitlist and SlashFill accounts. We'll expand it before the SlashFill apps launch.

The waitlist

When you join the waitlist we store your email address, which form you used, and the time you signed up. We use it only to tell you about SlashFill, such as when the beta or launch is ready. We don't use advertising trackers on this site.

Your account

You sign in to SlashFill with an email and password, or with Google. We store your email address and, for an email account, your password, which is stored hashed so no one can read it. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We use your email address to identify your account and to send you account emails, such as confirming your email or resetting your password, and for nothing else.

What syncs

Your templates sync between the Macs you sign in on: their names, shortcuts, text and formatting, and their folders, tags, colors, and the files and images you add to them. So SlashFill can rank the templates you use most, it also syncs a record each time you insert one: which template, which app or website, and how many characters it inserted. SlashFill never records what you type.

Where it's stored

Accounts, synced templates and waitlist emails are stored with Supabase, on Amazon Web Services in the United States (Virginia). Account emails are sent through Resend. We never sell or rent your information.

Deleting your account

Choose Delete Account in SlashFill's Account settings to delete your account and everything synced with it.

Removing your waitlist email

Every email we send includes a link to unsubscribe, which also deletes your address from the waitlist.
